Synopsis

A late-summer morning in Wrangelkiez, Berlin, Elpi, a young Greek woman, receives a phone call from a long-lost friend. As the day progresses, Elpi’s apprehensive wait for their reunion interweaves with the lives of other neighbourhood locals.

Biography

Elsa Rosengren, born in Gothenburg, in Sweden in 1989, lives in Berlin. After working at sea in her early 20s, she started making films while attending Rhode Island School of Design, RI, USA. Elsa graduated from the German Film & TV Academy Berlin in 2020 with the medium length film I Want to Return Return Return which won the third joint prize at Cinéfondation – Festival de Cannes. In the end of 2020 she was granted the Wild Card support by the Swedish Film Institute for the development of her first feature film.
